We highly encourage booking your workshop in advance, as we intentionally keep our sessions small to ensure dedicated guidance and a relaxing environment. However, you are always welcome to walk into our main annex to see if we have an open spot at the painting table for you to drop in and play!

Our experiences take place in two separate, dedicated spaces to provide the best environment for each craft. Pottery Painting is hosted at our main creative hub in the heart of the historic center (https://maps.app.goo.gl/f3sVGDLXjBgLC2Kf6), while our Wheel Throwing sessions are taught by Afonso at our sister studio, What the Folk - (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Dbtp6cYyXpaQf19R7), which is a simple 10-minute walk.

Occasionally, the clay has a mind of its own and a piece may not survive the final firing process. If this happens, our hospitality never fails—we will always make it right by inviting you back to make a new piece with us on the house.

You do not need any prior experience or special clothing; we provide aprons in the studio and offer patient guidance every step of the way! If you are joining us for wheel throwing, we simply recommend keeping your fingernails short and trimmed for the best grip on the spinning clay.

Painted pieces require glazing and firing, and will be ready for local pickup at our main annex in just 2 days. Thrown pieces require careful drying and double-firing, so your craftsmanship will be ready for pickup in 7 to 13 days.
